His works of prose have appeared in the Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology, Lampblack, and elsewhere. His writing has been supported by the Anderson Center for Interdisciplinary Studies and the New York State Summer Writers Institute at Skidmore College. He is currently at work on a collection of short stories that explores the lives of West Indians at home in the Caribbean and as immigrants living abroad in the United States. In the past, he served as the director of the Lit Lantern Reading Series. He previously taught at Essex County College, CUNY-Brooklyn College, and Rutgers University-Newark.
