Meighan L. Sharp is the author of Effusive Greetings to Friends (2022), a collaborative poetry collection, and the chapbook Anywhere You’re Going, created during her tenure as Roanoke’s Writer by Bus. Her work has twice been featured in the Best New Poets series and appears in The Sun, Blackbird, Plume, The Florida Review, and elsewhere. She has completed two residencies with the Dr. Robert L.A. Keeley Healing Arts program, facilitating creative experiences for patients, families, and staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. For nine years, Sharp has served on the Roanoke Arts Commission, where she helps advance public art initiatives that foster community engagement.
