Graduation is almost here and it’s time to start preparing!

Regalia & Announcement Info
Seniors are encouraged to wear their decorated robes and any non-academic, activity-based cords and stoles at commencement rehearsal, as well as any other events on the days before commencement rehearsal.
For the commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 17th all graduates should wear their black academic regalia including robe, hood, cap and any academic based cords and stoles. Questions regarding regalia and cords can be directed to provost@hollins.edu.

Deadline to ship to the bookstore is in early April. Deadline for delivery with shipping fee is in late April.
If you only need a single item such as a cap, tassel, or hood contact Karen in the Hollinstore – bookstore@hollins.edu or in-person at the store Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm.

Commencement Rehearsal
Commencement Rehearsal will be announced at a later date. It should not take more than one hour and will include additional commencement information and announcements, as well as a practice run of the ceremony.
Undergraduate students are required to attend rehearsal, and graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend. Seniors are encouraged to wear their decorated robes and any non-academic, activity-based cords and stoles at commencement rehearsal, as well as any other events on the days before commencement rehearsal. For the commencement ceremony on Sunday, all graduates should wear their black academic regalia including robe, hood, cap and any academic based cords and stoles.
The chapel can be noisy, especially with the excitement and energy of the day. Those with auditory sensory issues are encouraged to bring necessary items for their comfort.
