Over the past ten years, the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University has provided a wide variety of exhibitions and programs. With dedication and support from friends like you, we will continue to present thoughtful, exciting exhibitions and cross-disciplinary educational offerings.
The upcoming exhibition season features artists who explore the idea of “home.” Sue Johnson reinterprets the 1960s American Dream. The artists of Home Sweet Home look to the landscape, the architecture, and the everyday items that give us a sense of place. Ben Grasso figuratively explodes houses; Kris Iden quietly peers into hidden places. Susan Cofer’s drawings and sculptures embrace beloved vistas, friends, and family. All of these exhibitions are accompanied by educational programs for a variety of age ranges.
As always, the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum constantly strives to engage the community. Please join our mailing list, plan a visit, and attend a lecture or workshop as we work together to provide exciting exhibitions and educational programs to Hollins University and southwestern Virginia.
