An articulation agreement has been established with Jefferson College of Health Sciences (JCHS) in Roanoke, Virginia for Hollins students seeking career opportunities in the field of nursing. Each year, JCHS will grant priority admission to a maximum of five qualified Hollins students into the accelerated bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.) program. Hollins students with a grade point average of at least 2.7 (first tier admission requires a minimum 3.0 GPA) who have completed their baccalaureate degree (in any field) and completed the following prerequisite courses (each with a grade of "C" or above) are eligible to apply:
Required coursework for the accelerated B.S.N program will be completed at JCHS over four terms (fall, spring, summer, fall) after confirmation of the Hollins baccalaureate degree. The annual application deadline for priority admission is January 31.
