Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors CSC Academic All-District Team 2023

Six members of the Hollins University soccer team have been cited for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

The CSC named Cat Bussani ’24, Sophia Ciatti ’24, Tate Hurley ’24, T. Shover ’26, Anna Starman ’26, and Izzy Workman ’26 to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District Women’s Soccer Team for 2023.

Outstanding student-athletes are nominated for Academic All-District recognition by college and university sports communication directors. They must have a minimum 3.50 GPA and meet high athletic standards.

Academic All-District Team members are considered by the CSC for first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America recognition, and those honorees will be announced in early December.

Founded in 1957, CSC is a 4,100+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. Academic All-America is the longest running and premier award for athletic and academic success across championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian institutions.
