College Sports Communicators (CSC) has named Sophia Maurer ‘26, Zo Miranda ‘24, and Faith Schaefer ‘24 of Hollins University Volleyball to the NCAA Division III Academic All-District Volleyball Team for 2023.
Recognizing volleyball honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA – the CSC Academic All-District teams spotlight the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Outstanding student-athletes are nominated for Academic All-District recognition by college and university sports communication directors. They must have a minimum 3.50 GPA and meet high athletic standards.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America program ballot.
Founded in 1957, CSC is a 4,100+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. Academic All-America is the longest running and premier award for athletic and academic success across championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian institutions.
