Hollins Cross Country Earns All-Academic Honors Cross Country All-Academic Team

Hollins University Cross Country has been named an NCAA Division III All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (UTFCCCA).

To be eligible for this distinction, teams must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period (among other qualifiers).

The Green and Gold posted a team GPA of 3.45. Hollins was one of eight Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) member institutions to earn recognition.

Nationally, 233 Division III cross country teams received All-Academic status.

The USTFCCCA is a non-profit professional association for cross country and track & field coaches of all levels. The organization represents thousands of coaching members encompassing NCAA track & field programs (Division I, Division II, and Division III) and includes members representing the NAIA and NJCAA, as well as a number of state high school coaches associations.
