Residential participants who experience symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will complete a health consultation. If the medical provider determines that a COVID-19 test is recommended, the student will be tested with an antigen test. If the test is positive, a parent or guardian will have 24 hours to return to campus to pick up their student at their own expense. If the test is negative, the student will be retested in 48 hours and will be allowed to continue to participate in Hollinsummer with some restrictions. If the second test is positive, a parent or guardian will have 24 hours to return to campus to pick up their student. There will be no exceptions made to this policy, including for students who traveled to campus alone by airplane as unaccompanied minors.
Day participants who experience symptoms before arriving on campus should remain home until they receive a negative COVID-19 test result.
Refunds will not be issued to students having to depart campus before the completion of Hollinsummer due to COVID-19 testing or protocol.
