The Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University has just completed the most successful year in its short existence. We have provided a wide variety of exhibitions and programming, with substantial growth both artistically and in attendance and enthusiasm. With dedication and support from friends like you, we have and will continue to present an impressive number of cutting-edge exhibitions and creative educational offerings.
In this tight economic climate, we’re committed to using resources as effectively as possible and to find fresh ways to continue providing varied and stimulating educational programs to the public of southwest Virginia and beyond. The upcoming exhibition season includes a stunning grouping of artists working in a myriad of media with a focus on global issues and aesthetic concerns. In addition, all of our exhibitions are accompanied by educational programs for a variety of age ranges.
As always, the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum is constantly striving for new ways to act as a fulcrum for contemporary art and cross-disciplinary learning. Please make a trip to see the exciting happenings and stay tuned for more innovations to come!
Sincerely,
Amy. G. Moorefield, director
