Why Give?

The first major gift to Hollins was $5,000 from John and Ann Halsey Hollins of Lynchburg in 1855. In gratitude, the trustrees changed the name of the school to Hollins Institute.

Where would Hollins be today without the foresight and generosity of John and Ann Hollins?
