“So to Hollins we’ll sing till the mountain tops ring” – Reunion 2015

This line from “The Green and the Gold,” which is sung every year at reunion during Saturday morning’s celebration, expresses the joyful spirit of the weekend. Alumnae rediscover what Phoebe Hunter, class of 1909, wrote for the college alma mater: “There are true, loyal friends that our college life lends/And treasures of life manifold.”

The threat of rain moved Friday’s dinner inside to the Moody Center, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of these members of the class of 2000: Valerie Zgonc, Diane Brookreson, Sabrina Rose-Smith, Norm Ash, and C.J. Hawn.

Nifty indeed are Nancy Blue Thomas, Janet Whaley Larie, and Joyce Galbraith Colony.

A World Apart: Friday afternoon’s alumnae panel featured a spectrum of distinguished alumnae who reflected on their Hollins Abroad experience and how it impacted their lives.


Hollins products

Several of the top 10 products sold during reunion. Oval decals led the way, followed by caps, water tumblers, t-shirts, sweatshirts and spirit jerseys, mouse pads, D-ring belts, umbrellas, and ties. Over the summer, the bookstore was relocated to the main level of Moody.
