Ellen Goldsmith-Vein ’84 was once again named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2011 list of the “Power 100” women in entertainment. In 2011, the Gotham Group, the company she founded in 1993, received major recognition for some of the actors, editors, and writers it represents. But Goldsmith-Vein’s proudest accomplishment, she told the Reporter, is the example she sets as the owner of her own company. “It’s a unique position to be in,” she said. “The people it is most valuable to are my daughter and my daughter’s friends. I think my daughter’s really proud of having a mom who’s running a company.”
