"Five Stars and a Moon" Legacy Series

The Hollins theatre department’s yearlong “Five Stars and a Moon” Legacy Series, featuring adapted works by some of Hollins’ best-known writers, began last fall with Goodnight Moon, The Musical, which was also part of the 2011-12 celebration of the life and work of Margaret Wise Brown ’32. Shown are Manon Joveneau, Maria Latiolais ’13, and Emma Sperka ’12. Next up in the “Five Stars” series was Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey’s (’60) own adaptation of her best-selling A Woman of Independent Means, a one-woman show starring Stephanie Wahl. Hailey visited campus during the week of the production and met with students and alumnae.
