U.S. News, The Princeton Review, and the Fiske Guide to Colleges generously praise Hollins in the new editions of their respective college guides.

U.S. News and World Report’s 2019 Best Colleges ranks Hollins as the country’s #27 Best Value School and the #103 school overall in the National Liberal Arts Colleges category. The university is also cited as an “A-Plus School for B Students.”

Hollins is also among the top 20 schools in the country for Most Politically Active Students (#5), Best College Theatre (#10), and Most Active Student Government (#13) according to The Princeton Review’s The Best 384 Colleges. In its profile of the university, the guide calls Hollins “a place for unique individuals to thrive, empowering each other and forming a supportive community for women.”

And, Hollins is one of 323 four-year schools featured in the Fiske Guide to Colleges 2019, which USA Today calls, “The best college guide you can buy.” Fiske describes Hollins as “one of the country’s leading women’s colleges” where “academics are a top priority. Students leave with confidence, critical thinking skills, and intellectual depth, thanks to a solid grounding in the liberal arts.”
