President Gray sets the tone in her essay, <b>\u201cProgress and Prognosis: Both Positive,\u201d<\/b> in which she celebrates advancements made in four key areas for Hollins\u2014all of which are covered by the Alumnae Engagement Initiative umbrella, and all of which will help secure Hollins\u2019 future.<\/p>\n<p>By definition, <b>reunion<\/b> celebrates the past, but it happens very much in the present, as alumnae return to campus to celebrate their Hollins experience and the friendships that grew from it. Enjoy the photos in this online issue and also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollins.edu\/alumnae\/reunion\/index.shtml\">here<\/a>, with the hope that they inspire you to come back for your own reunion.<\/p>\n<p>If you haven\u2019t been to campus in a while, you can take a virtual trip by looking at the <b>\u201cFavorite Places\u201d <\/b>alumnae remember from their time here. A posting on Hollins\u2019 alumnae Facebook page elicited these memories.<\/p>\n<p>As Jeff Hodges M.A.L.S. \u201911 explains in <b>\u201cFrom Gatekeeper to Guide,\u201d <\/b>libraries of the 21st century must adapt to their users\u2019 needs, and the Wyndham Robertson Library is doing just that, by embracing technology without losing the human touch.<\/p>\n<p>In <b>\u201cArt Appreciation,\u201d <\/b>we look back at 10 years of exhibitions at the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum, through representative images selected by Janet Carty \u201987, M.A.L.S. \u201999, manager of exhibitions. The museum\u2019s past augurs a strong and exciting future.<\/p>\n<p>A postcard Ashleigh Gill received some years back about Hollins\u2019 M.F.A. in Children\u2019s Literature inspired a dream she realized when she became a student in the program in the summer of 2013. This summer she found out she was a cowinner of the Manchester Writing for Children Prize, as Marcie Flinchum Atkins M.A. \u201905, M.F.A. \u201911 explains in <b>\u201cA Postcard and a Dream.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Why is Hollins called Hollins?
