Clearing Tinker Creek Greenway trail

Armed with rakes and pickaxes and dressed for a day of demanding outdoor labor, nearly eighty students, faculty, and staff including President Gray (far right), cleared a new portion of the Tinker Creek Greenway trail on April 6. The two-foot-wide path runs three-quarters of a mile across Hollins’ property on the west side of I-81. It will ultimately provide access to more than forty miles of trails at Carvins Cove Natural Reserve.
