CASE recognizes “Justice for Susan” magazine article

In February, the article “Justice for Susan,” which recounts the 1975 murder of Susan Reeve ’75 and her family’s subsequent efforts to honor her memory, was recognized as the grand award winner in college magazine feature writing at the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III’s annual conference in Atlanta. The competition’s judges called the article “a touching story written in a way that any reader can relate to.” Written by Director of Public Relations Jeff Hodges, the feature appeared in the spring 2011 issue of Hollins magazine and can be found online at www.hollins.edu/magazine. Recently, the Susan Reeve Scholarship became fully funded at $1 million.
