Creative Writing M.F.A.
Applications are currently being accepted for fall 2024.
- Tuition for M.F.A. graduate students is $22,760 for the 2023-24 academic year.
- New students must pay a nonrefundable deposit of $500 due within three weeks of acceptance.
- All deposits will be credited toward the fall semester’s technology and health services fees.
- All students receive assistance from various endowed scholarships.

Dance M.F.A.
- Tuition for the 60-credit degree is $935 per credit hour for the 2023-24 academic year.
- The degree is divided over four terms or seven terms. Every track begins in the summer.
- The typical budget for a student will include technology, media, thesis, portfolio fees, and if on campus, health services fees.
- New students must pay a nonrefundable deposit of $500 due within three weeks of acceptance.
- All deposits will be credited toward the semester’s tuition charges.
- Summer housing is available for $267 per week for summer 2024.

Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (M.A.L.S.)

- Licensed, practicing teachers receive a $100 per course discount, provided proper documentation is submitted.
- Students must pay a nonrefundable deposit of $100 at the beginning of each semester.

- Hollins offers a grant to cover the 12-credit hours of student teaching. For the 2023-24 academic year, that is a savings of $4,980.

- Students must pay a $100 nonrefundable deposit at the beginning of each term.
- Technology fee: $300 per term for full-time students; $150 per term for part-time students; $150 for the summer term.
- Health services: $197.50 per term for full-time students.
Since most students take more than one academic year to complete the C.A.S., the cost to complete the certificate may be greater as tuition is reviewed on an annual basis.
