Eligibility for the Global Commitment Scholarship:
Only first-time, first-year full-time residential undergraduate international students are eligible to be considered for this award. “International student” for the purpose of this scholarship is defined as those who are eligible for one of the following:
- F1 Visa
- H4 Visa
- L2 Visa
If you are a DACA recipient, or in the process to receive this designation, inquire with our admission staff regarding your eligibility for the award. Scholarship applications must be submitted by March 1.
Steps to apply for the Global Commitment Scholarship:
- Complete an application for admission to Hollins using the Common Application. Your application file must be complete to receive consideration for this award.
- Complete the scholarship application, including an essay, here.
- The first review of scholarship applications will take place on December 1 and continue on a rolling basis through March 1.
- Semifinalists will be chosen by the Office of Admission. If you are selected as a semifinalist, you will receive an invitation to complete an online interview.
