Luke Johnson

Praise for director Luke Johnson’s Volume of Poetry, After the Ark

“It sings with the understated lyricism of James Wright, Richard Hugo, and Joe Bolton and is marked by absolutely stunning imagery. These are poems about how we live, memory, the lines between parents and children, nature. Clear language wrought sharp, this is not a book to be missed.”

Eight-Week Online Workshops

Workshops in poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction are open to writers of all abilities. They’re designed for those eager to produce new work on a flexible schedule.

By connecting writers across the country, the writing and sharing of work can continue after each session has ended. With an emphasis on voice, form, and metaphor, the goal is creating better writers.
