Choose one of the following one-week summer camps for advanced riders who are rising 9th-12th-grade girls:

Sunday, July 16 – Saturday, July 22, 2017

This equestrian camp for advanced riders offers the opportunity to learn more about hunter/jumper riding, barn management, and the care of horses from experienced college instructors. You’ll also gain knowledge and self-confidence throughout the week. Participants enjoy the outstanding equestrian amenities used by Hollins’ nationally known and award-winning riding team. The week concludes with a Saturday morning showcase and picnic farewell for parents and family members.

$1,100 (Residential only)
  • A deposit of $200 is required at the time of registration.
  • Campers who register and pay the nonrefundable $200 deposit by March 1 receive a 10% discount.
  • All payments are due in full by June 15, or your registration will be canceled and your deposit will not be refunded.

Claudia RolandClaudia Roland, Head Riding Coach

  • A.A., Vermont College
  • “R” level judge with United States Equestrian Federation (USEF)
  • Coached winners of the South Carolina Hunter/Jumper Association Governor’s Trophy, the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) Junior Hunters and Children’s Hunters Championship, and the prestigious Bryan Trophy
  • Has guided some of the top riders to qualify at the highest levels of competition, including the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Medal Finals and the ASPCA Maclay Regionals
  • Has worked as a freelance trainer and international judge, conducting private hunter/jumper horse and rider training, and traveling to various locations to provide adjudicating services
  • Owned and operated Fox Hollow Farms in Atlanta. She designed the barn as well as training and competition courses at the facility. Roland also oversaw all horse and rider training and lessons, and led Fox Hollow Farms in showing extensively throughout the southeastern United States.
