Using critical segments of the high-impact programming delivered in the Batten Leadership Institute, this series invites executive- and senior-level professionals to engage in a deeper level of leadership development training.

WHO: Men and women dedicated to and actively engaged in a leadership challenge that connects them to a larger purpose. Participants must be willing to embrace the methods described below and engage in intensive personal reflection. In addition, participants will need to address conflict while giving and receiving feedback. Limited to 10 participants.

WHAT: Course content includes Feedback, Values Clarification, Immunities to Change, Conflict, More Feedback, Teams, Adaptive Leadership, and Decision Making.

HOW: Through group discussion and group dynamics analysis, case simulation, content assessment, in-the-moment feedback, and debriefing. While the instructors will also use traditional teaching methods, all approaches emphasize capacity and skills building. Participants are expected to hold themselves and each another accountable for adequate preparation, including reading content, video review, or facilitating pre-arranged components.
