The Office of the Registrar is responsible for all aspects of undergraduate registration and academic records. This office strives to serve the university community in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner and guards the integrity and security of all student records in a manner consistent with ethical and legal standards.

The office of the registrar handles the following:
Class registration and scheduling
Grade reporting and record keeping
Transcript processing
Verifying enrollment
Major and minor declarations
Summer reading applications
Graduation analysis and certification
Transfer credit evaluations

Academic Services

In an effort to ensure academic excellence and a community that sustains talented students in challenging study, the Office of Academic Services works closely with the Office of the Registrar to implement and oversee all matters related to academic policy.

Institutional Research and Assessment

Institutional Research and Assessment presents official information about Hollins to the campus and the general public, including:

Detailed information about the university’s students, faculty, staff, and courses
Data and analysis for campus decision makers that inform and support institutional planning

The office provides the community with:
Knowledge, support, and guidance for academic and administrative unit assessment
Academic unit consultations to develop, measure, and analyze learning outcomes
Administrative unit consultations to develop, measure, and analyze performance outcomes
