Introduction



PROGRAM

Writing workshops in fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry are the heart of the curriculum. Each faculty member conducts small workshops, with class sizes ranging from eight to 15. Workshops will take place in the afternoons, with readings in the evenings. All participants will have opportunities to meet individually with faculty to ask questions and refine their work.

NOTE: All meals served as part of the meal plan are in the Moody Center. The picnic on Thursday evening is open to everyone.


Library and Computer Facilities

  • The Wyndham Robertson Library, Virginia's first National Literary Landmark, offers friendly research assistance, state-of-the-art technology and fully networked resources
  • Data ports wired to the campus network are available at every carrel and study room in the library.
