Housing

PLEASE NOTE: On campus dorm rooms with air-conditioning are no longer available. We do have non air-conditioned rooms, at a rate of $125. There are still rooms at the Country Inn & Suites (see below for information) with the special rate honored through May 24, 2012.

Dorm rooms are available on campus or at area hotels. Dorm rooms are fully air-conditioned and allow for single or double occupancy, with shared, hall bathrooms. On campus housing is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A block of rooms is available at the Country Inn & Suites (www.countryinns.com/roanokeva or 540-366-5678) through May 24, 2012. Rooms are $60/night – please reference code 120610HUSP when making reservations.

Meal plan

Meal plan includes 17 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), served in the main dining hall. The dining hall offers a variety of food options, including vegetarian fare.

Workshop

$750/$400 deposit*

Meal plan $200/$100 deposit*
Lodging $125/$125 deposit* (non air-conditioned room)
  *Balance due May 7, 2012. Registrations after May 7 must be paid in full.
Refund policy Deposits are non-refundable after April 2, 2012. All requests for refunds must be made in writing. Payment in full is due May 7, 2012. No refunds will be given to those who must leave the conference early.
Cancellation and refund policies
  • Deposits are nonrefundable after April 2, 2012.
  • If you cancel your registration less than 30 days before the start of your class, your entire payment will be forfeited. No refunds will be given for those who must leave the conference early.
  • In the unlikely event that we cancel your workshop, we will refund your payment in full.
  • If you registered by mail and none of the workshops you requested is available, we will refund your payment in full.
