We bring academics to life. Right off the bat, you’ll choose one from a slate of 15 seminars that will grab and hold your attention. Some examples? “Women of Genius” (ground-breaking women scientists); “Heroes: Not the TV Show” (a look at heroes and heroines through the ages); “The Nature and Culture of Water”; and “Who Am I, Where Am I, and What’s My Line Anyway?” (theatrical improvisation). You’ll get to know your professor, who will also be your advisor, and you’ll benefit from a peer mentor assigned to your group to answer questions and promote discussions and understanding.
