This one stop check-in will include opportunities to take care of business with many campus offices, including financial aid and the business office. You’ll have your photo taken for your student ID, get parking tags ($50 for full-time students, $30 for part-time) and get apartment keys for residential students.

During this session, you will learn the nuts and bolts of the academic program at Hollins, including what you need to know in order to earn a bachelor’s degree at Hollins.

Tour of Wyndham Robertson Library, Library Lobby
As a student, you will spend a lot of time in the library. Learn how to use the library and its important resources.

Paying for your College Education - Business Office/Financial Aid Office
This session on paying for your education will be presented by the Business Office and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Assistance.

New students officially begin their journey at Hollins. President Nancy Oliver Gray, SGA President, and Dr. Patricia Hammer, associate professor of mathematics will speak at the welcoming ceremony.

Picnic Dinner. Front Quad (rain location: Main Dining Room, Moody Student Center).
All new students, including Horizon, traditional-aged students, and transfer students, and their families are invited.

New students and families are invited to meet President Gray in her home. Dessert will be served.
