In March, Mary K. Farmer Shaughnessy ’72 won the championship in the Camping World Adult Amateur 51 and Over Hunters Section A in the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. She rode King Lear, owned by Shamrock Ventures. Said Shaughnessy about the horse she rode, “He is really, really perfect. I’d say that he has changed my life” (equestriansport.com, 3/25/11).
