Join us on Earth Day (Friday, April 22nd), for a special event that celebrates the connections between writing and nature! Writer, activist, and naturalist Janisse Ray will lead a hike where you can appreciate the beauty of our natural surroundings and learn to channel that inspiration into your work. The hike will be half of The Library Hike (2 miles total), with stops along the trail for writing exercises. Need more information about The Library Hike or the trail? Visit our FAQ post.
Friday, April 22nd from 2:30—4:30 pm
We will leave from the Reading Room in the library at 2:30 pm sharp.
Please wear close-toed shoes, and bring water, paper or a notebook for the writing exercises, and a writing utensil.
