Hollins Career Conference on Facebook

Suzy Mink and Jessica Sheperd

In a note to Suzy Mink '74, Jessica Leigh Sheperd '13 wrote: "Per your advice at C3 (2012), I applied and was accepted to intern with both American Rivers and the GLOBE program through The Nature Conservancy. This past January I worked under Ryan Lauer as a development intern. I spent the month writing briefings, researching potential donors for the organization, and organizing a timeline of American Rivers Board of Directors from their foundation to the present in preparation for their 40th Anniversary. After graduation, I will be headed to Choteau, Montana, to work with invasive species as a conservation stewardship intern at the Pine Butte Swamp Preserve."
