Lori Joseph Lori Joseph

Professor Joseph’s teaching and research interests center around communication and work, health, and gender. She teaches a variety of courses, including Organizational Communication, Public Relations, Health Communication, and Gender Communication. She also conducts communication training for medical personnel, and her current research interests include collecting and analyzing the narratives of women in male-dominated occupations, work and emotion, and health education campaigns.

Before entering higher education, Professor Joseph was public relations director for a major medical clinic and prior to that she served as an addiction educator and counselor.
