Alison Ridley Alison Ridley

Alison Ridley came to Hollins in 1991 after completing her Ph.D. at Michigan State University. Professor Ridley’s research interests include the Spanish picaresque and 20th-century Spanish drama. She has published articles on the Spanish dramatist Antonio Buero Vallejo and the picaresque novel Guzmán de Alfarache. She has also given papers at national and international conferences. Professor Ridley serves as an advisor to Spanish majors and first-year students, and is the faculty co-advisor to the Spanish House. She is also the faculty cosponsor of Sigma Delta Pi, the national Hispanic honor society.
