Community Programs

Hollins has conducted the following leadership programs and workshops in the Roanoke Valley:

  • Certificate in Professional Leadership
    Hollins launched the Certificate in Professional Leadership program in October 2006. This transformational program provides important and practical leadership training for women through a flexible program structure and schedule that accommodates full-time working women.

  • Foundations of Leadership, a BLI pilot program at William Fleming High School, developed in partnership with WFHS and the Junior League

  • Hollinsummer for high school girls

  • Leadership Roanoke Valley: afternoon workshop through the Chamber of Commerce

  • Rescue Mission Women’s Center: workshop with the staff director and residents
