The Hollins University tennis team rang in the new month on the calendar by hosting ODAC rival Sweet Briar College on a cold and windy Friday afternoon.  Hollins came into the match-up looking for their second consecutive ODAC win to start the season.

Due to the weather, the best of nine match was decided to be called once one of the teams reached the required five points to be considered complete.  Hollins swept all three doubles matches to take a commanding lead.  With victories at #1 and #3 singles, the match was called with Hollins winning 5-0.
