On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Hollins hosted the quarterfinal round of the 2011 ODAC Women's Tennis Championships.  Hollins had earned the right to host the round by finishing second in the ODAC in the regular season.  The seventh seeded Marlins of Virginia Wesleyan were the opponent and Hollins wasted no time in taking control of the match.  All three Doubles matches went Hollins way as the home team built a 3-0 lead.  Once the #5 and #6 Singles matches went to Hollins the event was stopped as Hollins had built an insurmountable lead, 5-0.  By virtue of the win, Hollins earned a spot in the ODAC semifinals that are to be played on Friday April 22nd.
