For the final time this season, the Hollins lacrosse team took the field when they traveled to Bridgewater on Saturday afternoon.  Hollins came into the matchup looking to end the season on a good note against the Eagles.

The home team struck first, scoring less than a minute into the game.  Bridgewater added to the lead over the next several minutes of play and when Hollins scored at the 6:30 mark, the Eagles had built a 7-1 advantage.  Three more Eagle goals gave Bridgewater a 10-1 lead at the break.  Hollins was again able to penetrate the Bridgewater defense but it wasn't enough as Hollins fell in their season finale, 19-2.

Chanci Wright (Eden, TX) scored her team leading 10th goal of the season when she beat the Eagle keeper late in the contest.  Brandi Chesne (Hammond, LA) netted her seventh goal of the season, tying her for second on the team in scoring.  Kelly Maxey (Leesburg, VA) led the team with three ground balls while Brittany Hanavan (Wilton, CT) caused two turnovers.  Corrine Nicholson (Takoma Park, MD) recorded 11 saves in her final game in a Hollins uniform.  Nicholson ended the season with 132 saves, ranking her fourth in the ODAC.

Saturday marked the season finale for Hollins, their first under new head coach Danielle O'Leary, and look to enter next season by returning their three leading scorers.
