Winchester, VA - Hollins University Lacrosse vs Shenandoah University March 15, 2010

Hollins traveled to Winchester, VA to face Shenandoah University for their first road game of the season.  The Hornets took control early and never allowed Hollins to get on track en route to a 17-1 win.

Cait DiMondi (Dover, DE/Dover), left, scored for the third straight game.  Her goal in the second half was Cait's 10th tally of the young season.  Kelly Sheehan (Haymarket, VA/Stonewall Jackson) saw 24 of 34 Hornet shots on goal.  Sheehan's seven saves give her a total of 32 in her first three games in net.

Shenandoah got goals from 10 different players.  Corrinne Kosmowski led the Hornets with five goals.  Morgan Fields added three goals and an assist while Jennie Ott scored two goals and handed out three helpers.

Hollins will host Lynchburg College on Saturday afternoon.  The game is scheduled to start at 1:30pm.
