Results

In their final tournament of the fall season, Hollins traveled to Springfield, OH to compete at the Pat Clouse Invitational hosted by Wittenberg University.  The two day event featured 18 colleges and universities and was held at the Par 71, 5860 yard, Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield.  As a team Hollins finished eighth in the event.

Elizabeth Cheng (Virginia Beach, VA) shot an opening round 76 to pace Hollins and was sitting in 10th place after the first day.  First-year Coty Hudson (Lynchburg, VA) matched Cheng's 76 on the second day to move herself up 11 spots to finish 10th in the field.  Cheng was unable to match her opening round score but by virtue of her two day effort finished 16th in the 96 player field.  J.R. Woolwine (Fairfax, VA), Gabby Radar (San Antonio, TX), and Autum Russell (Chantilly, VA) rounded out the team for Hollins.

Hollins will have the remainder of the semester off before resuming practice after the first of the year.  Hollins will next compete March 16-18 when they travel to Jekyll Island in Georgia.
