2012-13 All ODAC Teams

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) named its All Conference teams on Wednesday night.  The announcement of the three teams came at the ODAC Women's Basketball banquet, held at the Salem Civic Center, on the eve of the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.  Jasmine Greene (Hampton, VA) was named All ODAC first team for the first time in her record setting career.

In her final season, Greene led the conference in scoring with 19.4 points per game.  Jasmine also led the ODAC with 104 assists while finishing second in the league with 68 steals, seventh in free throw percentage (75.1%) and tenth in field goal percentage (42.5%).  For her efforts, Greene was named ODAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week three times, the most for any Hollins player since the conference started sponsoring women's basketball in 1982-83. 

After being named the ODAC Rookie of the Year in 2009-10, Greene was named to the All ODAC second team for the past two seasons before finally gaining first team honors this season.  During her illustrious career, Greene has been named to the VaSID All State team, DIII Hoops.com Rookie of the Year, DIII Hoops All South Region, Richmond Times Dispatch All State in addition to her ODAC honors.

Greene finishes her four years at Hollins with several school records.  Earlier this season she became the schools all time leader in points, assists, and steals.  Greene finished her career with  1,760 points, besting the previous mark of 1480.  Jasmine also sits a top the Hollins record book with 393 assists and 270 steals.  On the back of her 24 points in her final game, Greene broke her own single season scoring record when she finished the season with 486 points.

The senior from Hampton, VA will graduation this May with a degree in business.  This summer Greene will compete at a camp for players looking to play professionally overseas.
