Soccer Seniors 2011 |
Athlete of the Week - October 17, 2011 The 2011 Hollins soccer seniors are the Hollins Student Athletes of the Week. Last week the soccer team, led by their seniors, went 2-0 in the ODAC. After going on the road to pick up a 3-1 win at Sweet Briar on Saturday, Hollins hosted Randolph College on Tuesday afternoon. Hollins won a close 1-0 contest over the WildCats setting up a season ending game against Eastern Mennonite in which Hollins has a chance to win three ODAC games in a row for the first time. The win over Sweet Briar was the fourth straight for the quartet of seniors giving them an undefeated record against their biggest ODAC rival. Congratulations Kristen, Mary, Ashley, & Erica and GO GREEN!!!
