Athlete of the Week - October 10, 2011

First-year volleyball player Morgan Russell is the Hollins Student Athlete of the Week.  The libero/defensive specialist from Peoria, AZ helped to lead Hollins to a big ODAC victory over Virginia Wesleyan College.  In the win, Russell recorded 33 digs, a Hollins varsity record.  Currently, Morgan sits in third in the ODAC in digs per game.  Russell has yet to decide on a major while attending Hollins.  The volleyball team will look to make the ODAC Tournament field when they host Roanoke College in their final match of the season, October 25th.
