Athlete of the Week - September 3, 2012 Maran O'Neill of the soccer team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. This past weekend the Hollins soccer team played a pair of games on the road. In Friday's match up with Trinity College Hollins came away with a 6-0 win, their first of the young season. A sophomore from Bedford, VA, O'Neill not only scored her first goal in a Hollins uniform, she netted a hat trick. O'Neill scored three of the six Hollins goals en route to a 6-0 win. Hollins looked to win two in a row but despite out-shooting Notre Dame, Hollins fell 1-0 on the road. Congratulations Maran and GO GREEN!!!
