Athlete of the Week - Novemebr 28, 2011

Maggie Dwyer of the swim team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week.  After taking some time off for the Thanksgiving break, the Hollins swim team was back in action last week.  Hollins traveled to Sweet Briar for a tri-meet with the Vixens and Ferrum College.  Hollins came away with a split and take a 5-2 record into the holiday break.  Maggie won two individual events and swam a leg on the winning relay team.  Dwyer won the 400 meter Freestyle after setting a varsity record in winning the 800 meter Freestyle.  She won both events by half a pool length.  Maggie then helped to set a varsity record when Hollins won the 200 meter Freestyle relay.
