Athlete of the Week - September 14, 2009

Kristen Norkus, keeper for the soccer team, is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. In her past three matches, Kristen has not given up a single goal.  She has gone over 300 minutes in goal since she was last scored upon including a 2OT shut-out against Ferrum College.  Kristen has 24 saves and three shut-outs for the season.  Norkus, a sophomore from Gainesville, VA, is a Screenwriting major and working on minors in Film and Creative Writing.
