Athlete of the Week - September 19, 2011

Golfer Coty Hudson is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the week.  The Hollins golf team played their second event of the fall this past weekend when they hosted Radford University at Ashley Plantation in Daleville, VA.  On the back of a 79, first-year golfer Coty Hudson placed third in the event.  It marked the second consecutive top five finish for the Lynchburg, VA native.  Hudson fell a single shot out of the runner-up spot against the DI Highlanders.  Coty, whose favorite athlete is LPGA golfer Paula Creamer, has yet to decide on her major at Hollins.
