Athlete of the Week - November 16, 2009 The entire basketball team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. (L to R), front: Tristen Jones, Jasmine Greene, Tamara Phillips, Lacie Forrest, Candace Berra, back: Elise Newsom, Kendra McCain, Morgan Dean, Brittany Hanavan, Sarah Morton, and Elizabeth Dodd. The team scored a season-opening 78-74 win over Gallaudet University on Sunday afternoon. In front of a large and supportive crowd, the team came from an early 14 point deficit to earn a hard fought win. The win snapped a 63 game losing streak and got the young, talented team off to a great start to the 2009-2010 season. Congratulations Team!
