Athlete of the Week - January 9, 2012

Audrey James of the swim team is the Hollins Student-Athlete of the Week. In a meet against Bridgewater and Ferrum, James had three second place finishes against Bridgewater and three firsts against the Panthers.  Her time in the 200 Meter Freestyle established a new Hollins varsity record.  However, Audrey knew that Maggie Dwyer had a shot at the same record later in the meet.  She supported Maggie the entire meet and was the one cheering the loudest when Maggie broke her hour old record.  James, a first-year swimmer from Fremont, CA, has competed in a variety of events throughout the season.
