The Class of 2001 celebrated their 5th reunion.

The Class of 1971 showed “signs of the times” from their Hollins days.

The Class of 1951 (“the nifty one”) won the Catherine Orgill West ’51 Award for the highest Hollins Fund participation, with 99% of their class giving. Their classmate, for whom that award is named, was also the winner of the Pat Thomas Bain Award.

The Class of 1996 won the Hollins Rock Award for the class among the ten most recent classes with the highest Hollins Fund participation: 16%.

Celebrating her 70th reunion, Margaret Crichton McHenry ’36 was escorted around Front Quad as the “Reunion Queen.”

The Class of ’86 was the largest class in attendance with 41 attendees.

The 40th reunion class of 1966 won the Tinker Mountain Award for the largest total class gift to the Hollins Fund: $111,241.

Ginger Reeder ’81 gave the remarks for the 25th reunion class at the Alumnae Celebration.

Knox McGuffin Goodman ’56 gave the 50th reunion honor remarks at the Alumnae Celebration.

Alumnae Board member Hazel L. Bernard ’76 accepts the Pat Thomas Bain Award.

Former Hollins Trustee Jerry Hardy FitzGerald ’61 (r) accepts the Rath Award from former Alumnae Board President Martha Brewer ’69.

Professor of Art Bill White is a grateful recipient of the Betsy Green Grubbs ’72 Award for significant contributions in the arts.

Nine of the original 16 Hollins Rosebud Hobson rafters attended Reunion ’06 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their historic raft trip down the Mississippi River. Tricia Neild Moulton ’66 shared stories, showed a DVD of film taken on the trip, and gave her memorabilia to the Hollins archives.
