Meet Some Horizon Students

	Carrie Dixon As she prepares to graduate from Hollins in 2012 with a degree in sociology and a certificate in leadership, Carrie Dixon reflects on the ways Horizon has broadened her world view and guided her down the path of self-discovery.
	Melissa Hairston After a career in retail sales and management, Melissa Hairston is using Horizon to realize her dream of working in law enforcement. She explains what it’s like to go back to college and how she’s gained an unprecedented degree of self-belief in the process.
	Laura Hawley Environmental studies major Laura Hawley discusses the life-changing experiences she’s enjoyed through two Hollins-sponsored trips to the Caribbean and how Horizon has enabled her to learn, "There are no limits unless you put limits on yourself."
